SERVAL

The Serval (Leptailurus serval) is a medium-sized African wild cat. Their fur is gold with black spots and they have the largest ears of any cat. On their ears are distinctive white markings used to signal their kittens when hunting.They are extremely intelligent animals and have great problem-solving capabilities. Males are more aggressive with their food than females are with their offspring.

Habitat

The Serval is native to Africa and live in wet grasslands. They share their habitat with the caracal. They are nocturnal animals and prefer to hunt at night.They often like to play with their prey several minutes before consuming it. They usually prey on smaller animals including rodents, snakes, birds, frogs and occasionally will eat reptile and bird eggs. They can leap in the air to catch birds
